Living in a third world country we have to face the usual challenges that any resident of a third world nation comes across. For us Pakistanis, the most profound one, among a host of problems these days, is electricity load-shedding. As if the soaring, over-40-degrees summer heat wasn’t enough, a new bomb shell has been dropped on us. The IESCO has revealed that the Presidency, NADRA, NAB, SC, Judges Colony and several other top government establishments are exempt from electricity load-shedding.
I wonder when we will get past this elitist culture!
